My Personal Path
I have been a liturgical music director, a teacher in a city public school system, taught adult ed programs, and experienced a fun filled year teaching little ones in pre-school. I have worked in retail garden centers, a botanical garden, created custom flower arrangements and designed and maintained gardens in my own company, Gardenfocus, Inc.
During all this, my interest in health, well being, inner growth and spirituality led me to gain certification in Soul Coaching®, begin studying the healing possibilities of Flower Essences, and to become a Reiki Master in the Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage.
Most recently, I have completed the training and certification process to become a Bach Flower Registered Practitioner, completed a magnificent two year Ministerial Training Program through the Center For Sacred Studies that resulted in my ordination as an inter-faith minister and have become certified as a Forest Therapy Guide.
To an outsider, this may look like a wandering path, but for me, it has been a natural progression of personal evolution, allowing me to share myself in meaningful ways that combine my love of music, healing in its broadest sense, and respect for nature in a way that is unique to me.
With my background in music, I could say that I help you to find your own song. Or given my background in gardening; I help you to cultivate, prune and plant seeds in good soil. With my teaching background, I could say that I help you to gather the wisdom of your past lessons and open the door to future expansion and personal knowledge. You get the idea! However I say it, it comes down to recognizing and appreciating this precious life and the beauty in each moment.
In my work within Looking Deeper, I am part coach, part teacher, part guide, and part spiritual mentor. I both model and teach a way to approach life with increased awareness, living from authenticity, using our inborn intuitive guidance to create a life of purpose, and a life full of contentment and joy.
I choose to be “a guardian of nature, a healer of misery, a messenger of wonder and an architect of peace.”

We do not believe in ourselves until someone reveals that deep inside us something is valuable, worth listening to, worthy of our trust, sacred to our touch. Once we believe in ourselves we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight or any experience that reveals the human spirit.
